This project marked the final film produced by SchnickSchnack! Productions before Katharina and I decided to dissolve the company in order to focus on our bachelor theses and new directions. We were commissioned by the Interface Design program at Fachhochschule Potsdam to create a promotional video that would showcase the program’s unique perspectives and approaches, highlight exciting student projects, and demonstrate its diverse and engaging curriculum. The goal was to make the program more accessible and attractive to potential students, while also providing insights into career opportunities beyond the program itself.

As the project lead, I took charge of every aspect of production, from conceptualization to post-production. I managed the project, assembled the team, and communicated with all seven professors, each of whom shared their own viewpoints on what interface design is. I also conducted on-screen interviews, directed the film shoots, and oversaw post-production to ensure the final video captured the essence of the program.

To support me, I invited fellow students Milan Wulf and Carl Linz from the Interface Design program to join the project. Milan, who had experience working on various film projects, played an instrumental role in production and post-production, while Carl, despite it being his first film project, proved to be a valuable asset, particularly in the planning phase, thanks to his experience as a study assistant. Together, we created a compelling video that effectively communicated the program’s strengths and piqued the interest of prospective students.
