This stop-motion animation reimagines Edvard Munch’s The Scream (1893) through the transformative medium of modeling clay. Highly experimental in nature, the project was created without a storyboard or detailed planning. As the clay became “dirty” and distorted during the process—black and white tones merging into muddy hues under the camera lights—I embraced this imperfection, letting it shape a darker, more horror-inspired aesthetic.

Influenced by the comic character Venom, an amorphous alien symbiote, the animation captures the unsettling evolution of the original artwork into a more sinister and otherworldly form.
